Begining as part of an undergraduate research thesis starting February 2012,  the research was continued over till October 2013. It explores the concurrence of socio-spatial transformations in the city. Though encompassing the epochs of Lucknow since 1857 AD. , it lays special empahsis on the political and morpological transformations since 1992 where a liberalised economy, changing caste politics and urban dynamics transform the city.

The same was presented  and published as a paper at the 'INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON CITIES PEOPLE AND PLACES 2013', held in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
